TASIC 3.0 operationalises the Engaged Management Scholarship framework through five distinct tracks. The conference takes a specific, structural approach to generating outside-academy impact, rather than accommodating every possible translation and co-creation mechanism. Business schools and scholars can, of course, also influence the real economy through faculty consulting, direct advisory services, board memberships and executive coaching, a highly personalised, direct translation pathway where faculty engage with the field on an individual basis.
While acknowledging the value of direct-engagement consulting, this edition of TASIC deliberately excludes individual consulting pathways from its scope. Instead, TASIC 3.0 focuses entirely on institutionalised and scalable academy-field approaches: the Manuscript-to-Field and Classroom-to-Field links for translation, and the Industry-to-Academy and Venture-to-Academy links for collaborative co-creation.
The five operational tracks position the Impact Leadership Forum at the centre, flanked by the Manuscript-to-Field Pipeline and Classroom-to-Field Masterclasses on the translation side, and the Industry-to-Academy Workshop and Venture-to-Academy Showcase on the co-creation side.

Reviewers select ‘exemplary’ papers from the 7,000+ papers published in relevant FT 50 journals in 2025, based on their latent innovation and prospective impact potential rather than citation numbers or track record. Using a structured impact assessment tool developed by SPJIMR, reviewers audit these papers for the clarity, feasibility and salience of their translational elements, and original authors present the translation exposition.
A discipline-agnostic editorial accelerator for completed but unpublished manuscripts. Reviewers use the same SPJIMR tool to verify academic novelty and grade the scope, clarity and operational feasibility of translational bridges, and authors present their work to discussants from academia and industry, including journal editors.
